the kid's got potential!

We have received many wonderful and encouraging updates and e-mails about Jamison from people who go to visit the Philip Hayden Foundation. (the philip hayden foundation is where jamison currently lives)
From what we have been told, he is musically inclined, he has tried his hand at the piano and the guitar. One precious man left a guitar there for him to play and to practice.

I know that after Misty visited and taught him how to thumb wrestle, he has been anxious to play thumb wars with anyone who is interested! Several people have shared that he loves to thumb wrestle.

He loves to do arts and crafts.

But the most meaningful and touching e-mails have been people telling us about what an amazing spirit he has. everyone has said that he is eager to try new things, and does not seem inhibited by his complete lack of vision. One man shared that he witnessed jamison caring for a friend and that his compassion for his friend brought this man to tears. jamison's never-say-die attitude will be a tremendous asset in his life. he will need all of the confidence and strength of character he can get his hands on!

What a beautiful child he is. in the back of my mind, i cling to the hope of holding his face and kissing his forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and lips. i cannot wait for that day. it is in abba's hands, as all things are. we will wait as long as we need to. he is worth every bit of waiting.

jamison, i know you can't read this, and don't even know about me, but i want you to know that we are here. we all love you more than the sky is big. your five little brothers are planning and praying and hoping for you. they have grandious plans of forts, and hockey games. they are waiting for you. scott and i don't know why we have to be apart from you for so long, but we will wait for as long as it takes, our son, our precious one. i will love you from afar until the day that i can hold you in my arms and breathe you in. i love you.
